Favourite Nintendo Franchise

So what is "YOUR" favourite Nintendo franchise??
...And I'm talking very general (for example, Super Mario = Bros/Land/World/64/Sunshine/Galaxy... Metroid = Metroids AND Metroid Primes).

If you can't pick just one then list your top 3 (or 5 if it's really that hard that's what she said).

Man, the Super Smash Bros. games are so addictive and fun. They're pretty much the only fighting games I can really get into. It's easy to pick up but have plenty of depth and has diverse characters. It's definitely one of my favorite Nintendo franchises.

At least, the least obvious one, because Zelda, Mario and Metroid will top the list like usual otherwise.

Zelda & Pokemon i spend the most gaming time in those two franchices ever

I have to go with the Zelda franchise, especially in regards to the top down games, although I enjoy the 3D ones too. I still love playing through the Game Boy and Game Boy Color games. They're just the perfect blend of adventure, action, and puzzle-solving for me.

Top-down Zelda. Absolutely.

Pokémon. Pokémon Pokémon Pokémon Pokémon Pokémon Pokémon Pokémon Pokémon Pokémon Pokémon.

My top five are Pokemon, Kirby, Mario Party, Smash Bros, and Punch Out.

i dont know... i spent a lot of time for almost Nintendo franchises but i think my top 5 is this:

1. Super Mario
2. Zelda
3. Mario kart
4. Metroid
5. Pokemon

Donkey Kong- I've tried the new games a few times but I really like the arcade games.

Favoritest first:
Super Mario : There's no denying it. Mario games are fantastic. Super Mario Galaxy, Mario 64, Super Mario World, Mario 3, Yoshi's Island, all freaking awesome.
Metroid : Super Metroid is one of my favorite games ever. I wish they'd get back to that ultra-greatness again (Not that the modern ones are bad)
Zelda : It's Zelda. A lot of people don't like the 3D ones ... I think they're great, I like the 2D ones more, but they're both fantastic.
Star Fox : Particularly Star Fox 64.
Donkey Kong : Seriously, DK Arcade is still fun. Country is fun, Returns is fun.

I haven't spent any real time with Fire Emblem, Animal Crossing, or Advance/Battalion Wars. Pikmin is great, but not amazing. And Kirby would be #6 on that list.
