I love demo versions of good songs, especially when they're done in an almost completely different style than the final album version.

Very cool. Does the album version have that same strange acoustic effect? Sounds like it was recorded in a submarine lol, but it's still very good.
Funny enough I just heard I'm Going Hungry for the first time in years today and it got me craving some Pearl Jam. Good stuff! Takes me back to the Summer of '93 when all that mattered was caffeine and the Genesis. Good times.

No that submarine effect is one of the reasons I love demo songs. It's probably taken from casette tape that was recorded with not-the-best equipment. It gives it a unique flavor I think.
The original is much more crisp, which I just happen to feel like playing! Also, Hunger Strike is by Temple of the Dog which is basically Pearl Jam + Soundgarden. So that's some more 90's for ya!
After listening to this, I concluded that this youtube video is actually of lower quality than the album version. Good enough, though!

If you want to post the video, just put string of letters and numbers after the 'v=' in the address in [youtube] tags.
Just in case you didn't know.
Awesome song though.

Real forums do it with just the link. No tags, no shortening.
I've made this my own problem.

Probably one of the few bands I've purchased CDs from in the past 10 years. Although I had to import theirs since my local store didn't have it. Their music makes me melt.

Definitely liking these guys, gonna have to check out more of their stuff.
I've been getting into a lot of ambient and shoegaze stuff over the past few years (started with early M83) and am always on the lookout for new bands.

Hey, i found some weird atari 2600 cartridge with a usb port sticking out of it, this was one of the videos on it. Probably shouldn't watch it if you are prone to seizures though.

Nice! Yeah this is my fave shoegaze group, I like M83, as well. More recently got into Asobi Seksu, Mew, and School of Seven Bells. If you haven't heard their stuff, check them out

The LP caught my eye and Eurythmics sounded really familiar. Turns out we never really listened to them, but they were really popular and I kinda like it.
This just happens to be the song playing right now, second song on Side 1 of the album Be Yourself Tonight.
Wait... someone turned on a bold tag and didn't close it. I bet it was gh0ul. There we go.
