Too Many Games 2011 Empty Too Many Games 2011

Just a few hours I got back from a visit to Oaks PA to attend Too Many Games, one of the largest and most successful gaming conventions on the East Coast. This years lineup was awesome, with great vendors, tons of games for sale and on display (including some unreleased games like StarFox 2), developer booths, panels, and live game music performances. Even James Rolfe (the Angry Video Game Nerd) made an appearance.

This year had a great turnout, and was the first 3 day expo in the history of Too Many Games. Hopefully this formula proves successful enough to become the norm for the convention, as it's always a ton of fun.

Anyway, I thought I'd share pics of the event in case anyone was interested.

Did anyone else make it out to the expo?

Dude, how did I not know about this? Seriously, I spend way too much time on the internet and am from Pennsylvania but I've never heard of this! Man I suck. I wouldn't really have had the time this weekend anyway, but still the principal of the thing gets to me.

Thanks for the pics & info, I'll definitely look into it next year. Did you buy anything while you were there?

Well, if you have any free time tomorrow the show will still be going on from 10am to 10pm.

My wife and I got my son a ton of toys (he's a Mario and Sonic fanatic), and I grabbed myself Shining Force III Scenario 2 for the Saturn. I decided not to go crazy this year as I'm looking to get a few things (Duo RX and some arcade boards) in the near future.

Aw man. There was a recent convention here in Hawaii but I bet it wasn't as good as this. :/

At the very least, if it IS that good it's because it's filled to the brim with rare Japanese imports. All of which are too expensive, and none of which can I understand their language. Curse my fate of living in paradise!

Looks like a lot of fun! I need to get out to something like that at some point.
