Also to clean up the main section a bit and make the forum a bit easier to navigate, I think there should be "sub-forms" or "folders" (don't know the proper term for a forum) that contain the different game consoles to discuss. I think it would make it a bit more organized and easier to find the game system you're looking for to discuss.

    For example...
on the front page you see:

    SEGA
    Sony
    Nintendo

And within "SEGA" section, it would have:
    DreamCast
    Genesis
    SEGA CD
    Saturn

    Within "Nintendo" it would have:
    NES
    Super Nintendo
    N64
    Gamecube

    etc.

    ok in work

This is a good suggestion. Also bear in mind that forums like Vectrex, Atari, and older niche stuff will only get a thread once in a blue moon. To streamline things and make the forums less disjointed you might want to consider a "Retro" or vintage systems forum which deals in these systems so you get more activity going on in one place, rather than many, seldom visited forum categories.

Also, Combining all the Genesis add-ons into the Genesis forum will help clean things as well. You could even add a description to the Genesis forum saying something like "Dedicated to the Sega Genesis and it's various add-ons" or something of the sort. The same would go for Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance etc. Just having one general handhelds forum, or forum dedicated to the handhelds of whichever manufacturer, would go a long way towards making things function more smoothly.

To be honest, I was expecting more forums about Keith himself Smile

You're right! I think there SHOULD be a section called "Keith Apicary"! If it wasn't for Keith, this forum wouldn't even exist! Very Happy

There could also be a stickied topic in there where Keith posts all of his newest videos or something like that

I'd like to see a locked, stickied thread where Keith comes in and says some real funny Keith junk periodically as a "blog" myself.

    That's what I thought!

Oh, hey guys. Could you possibly use bigger or more obvious buttons to use when updating things like your profile or going through your settings. I just hit "Reset" by accident as they're so small and cramped together and I can imagine it might happen to others. I think the problem is that on messages and poists the buttons are

    Preview | Send

    and on changing options it's

    Save | Reset

Or something like that. A little confusing.

    Thanks Smile

I just figured that was the purpose of the entire site.

That's valid, but one place to go for "the latest in Keith Apifashions" or "What's Up Wif Keith?"

and the good Mr. Barnatt has an anecdote about something that happened that day but played straight through as though Keith were telling the tale.

All of my suggestions should be taken with a grain of salt and a dash of "mite b cool"

    Done.

    irc.quakenet.org
    #talkingclassics

or for people without a client: http://webchat.quakenet.org/?channels=talkingclassics&uio=d4

If a few people go in there, and an admin wants to have ownership they can request a Q bot (very easy management).

Not a problem. It would be cool to get some people in there so we could request a Q bot (ownership can be transfered very easily to site mods)
Fancy IRC knowledge isn't required at all ... most modern clients have all options in drop down menus. It's easy to understand stuff.

I'm gonna go ahead and make a thread about this and people can discuss stuff there.
